Options for intakes for the Monte Carlo
This page is up to serve as a reference to intake manifolds for the Monte
Carlo and will be added to as time goes on.
The ZZ intake is available from GM and fits '86 and older small block heads. It
also has provisions for EGR and heat riser. There are bolt patterns for Holley
and also Quadrajet carburetors.

1 The "flaw" seen is the normal
vacuum port and not a flaw at all.
The Edelbrock 3701 intake is a smog legal direct replacement for 55-86 small
blocks. The EGR ports, like on the ZZ intake are located at the floor of the
main plenums. An image of a stock intake with differently placed EGR ports will
be placed on this page at some point.
